Most people don't...
How unique are we really? Very I'd say....

Each person is unique in the combination of inherent characteristics, personality and life experiences... but each facet of that combo is not original in any form of the word. We're like a great Chinese Combo dish you can get at Luke's Inn (Warren, Rhode Island)... the combo meal is great because the tastes of each part of the mix satisfies your need for diversity, yet you could always get each segment of the plate separately.
What I'm trying to convey is this... I'm sure that the majority of people can complete this statement: "Most people don't ______________." Try it now.... see how many things you can fit in that line....
Following...
Okay... now look at each individual statement you made in it's entirety. You may find that the statement is unique in that not EVERYONE can make the same statement, though... I follow up with this proposition.... can some of your close friends make similar claims?
Well if they can, they you and I have something in common... I surround myself with people who are capable of experiencing life in the same way as I do. One of the first thoughts I had was, "Most people don't care about their friends like I do..." and another, "Most people don't know what it is to be sensitive the beauty/ugliness around them.."
My family and friends just aren't 'anyone', they are parts of me and parts of who I have become because I've known them...
This blog may be a bit disjointed, I apologize... but a few conclusions here: 1)We're not all that special, but special enough... and 2) There are people around us who share similar qualities because we are drawn to and influence our close friends or family (even though there may be many dissimilarities, common traits must be present to create a meaningful connection).
Hope that sounds as good to you as it does to me... much love in the week to come.
Peace.
