Life has a way...

It's that classic line from Jurassic Park when the quirky scientist played by Jeff Goldblum describes the way in which life finds a way of evolving, growing and creating in order to sustain itself. In this same way, my new grass has found a way of growing in some pretty rough soil and quick at that. I'm a proud parent of a reseeded lawn area-ish space.

I built a patio, I leveled some dirt around it and I planted grass - this is what I'm talking about! ;p

Life also has a way of bring new people into the picture and I've always been a die hard believer in the natural fluidity of each day. Life wasn't meant to be so hard emotionally, I mean we're not good mates by our very evolutionary history - we're all about instinct all that genetic jazz, but when it comes down to it - relationships have a way of forming just like the grass around my patio.

Snapshot - May 29, 2006 - Colt State Park, Sunset, my girlfriend and I taking pictures of each other and anything that moves, to include the ocean. What a beautiful memory and it didn't take much to make it. I like that "eHarmony" commercial because it speaks the truth about how great things can be when you meet someone you're compatible with - "when true compatibility meets physical attraction there's magic" (or something like that, just watched the commercial yesterday). So the story goes, any man can meet and be great with any woman, so long as they are compatible and they are attracted to each other. The awesome part of that philosophy is that they don't have to be attractive to the whole world, just to the other person they are compatible with, get it? :-)

Next post, next step... I've decided a fun little project would be developing a process of elevating the expectations of all women when it comes to men. I mean, I have to affect the masses people, I need to make a difference when it comes to men because women need to know they should expect more, more, and more. What brought upon this thought? Hmm... my existence in the dating scene for the past few years... and today, I drove past this "shiny" car with two guys in the front seat laughing to each other while this cute girl sat in the back, by herself, looking down as she twiddled her thumbs... I mean come on, get over the car and your buddy and get into that beautiful girl in your backseat!!! Are ya feelin' me? Men - why are we so obsessed with cars and other materialistic things when we have jewels in the women who are closest to us? Let's forget about all the "big" stuff, let's forget about everything actually for an afternoon and open our eyes to what is right before our eyes.. the most precious parts of our world - our partners, the princesses of the relationship :)

Yeah for modernizing the way we look at our relationships. Who's with me?

Peace.

PS - Thanks to all who read, I'll figure out something fun for the 1,000th visitor ;)
