The dumber I get...

The more educated I become, the more I realize that we're all so crazy to think we know anything at all. I'm taking this stupid "Computers & Society" class that quite frankly I chose because I thought it would be a piece of cake and now it's taking more time to complete assignments for than anything else! Every time I discuss something in class, my professor's response is.. "Can you prove it? Can you substantiate it? Can you.. can you.. can you...?????" AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! It seems to me that almost anything that we substantiate is going to be through our own reasoning, because obviously he doesn't like personal experience and if not I'm going to cite some random author (the only difference is that he published his individual reasoning or personal experience with the topic). Blah.. anyway, that's enough venting..

I read through my usual favorite BLOGS and everyone seems to be wrapping up discussion on Michael Jackson.. to be quite honest, being overseas it is easy to lose touch with current events in the states. On top of that.. we're at war! I'm a Marine and I have friends, Marines I've served with who are in Iraq and Afghanistan right now.. what do I care about some man that I've never known or will know, how is he different than any other trial that is going on in America right now? There is no difference.. and as Luke said, maybe if it had been on Law & Order I would have watched it.. haha
